1000 visitors! As is the proud DA tradition, I am putting up an image in celebration of my cumulative hits! This piece was a lot of fun to do, as a celebratory piece should be. I drew the lineart in pen, traced it on my Wacom, decided the lines from the Wacom were too shaky, redid the linework in Macromedia Flash MX and then recolored and shaded it in Photoshop 7. I still have no idea how to photoshop curly hair, so I just did some wonky shading and some gestural lines to imply the chaos that is my hair. I almost made the raised thumb shine, to explain the lighting, but decided against it. It was just too cheesy. So, that's about it. Here's to another 1000 hits! |
