Golden Warbler While watching the cats eat I also observed a bird, and this sketch came from it. My sketching process, for anyone who is interested, goes like this: observation, recreation, interpretation. This is the second stage, recreation, where I strive for accuracy more than emotion. Also, just for comparison purposes, look at this picture from three years ago. I have actually made progress as an artist- surprising! Made with pen, a sheet of blank paper, Epson scanner, and Adobe Photoshop CS3. |
