Typesetter Because Yarboan is written in a helix, or spiral depending on how you visualize it, trying to simply echo out images or create a font wasn't an option. This proved to be quite a tricky programming problem, because the way I was trying to abstract the information doesn't work very well in Flash. I'm actually using a pretty brute-force kinda method. This particular version of the program has some serious bugs in it (for example, what happens after 8 characters? You're just SOL), and there are some much needed features, such as the Yarboan duration system, and the remaining 5 vowels that English doesn't have. Still, it's a start. Made entirely in Flash CS2. |
