Stomp Kind of a return to my old style of monster, but a bit different on the coloring end. On the prompting of a friend (Jacob), I whited out the foreground of the background (if that makes any sense) to give the feeling that the stomper is stepping out of the image. We just couldn't make him jibe with the background otherwise. Speaking of the background, it was rendered in Terragen 1, no frills. I had to play around with its colors a fair bit, but I eventually found a balance I was happy with. For some reason the scan of the creature was kinda low-rez, so getting it to alias into the background took a lot of manual playing around. Made with pen, paper, and photoshop. |
