To go with the intense focus on Roda Jogo this semester, here's a logo design. Hope you guys like it, I ended up redoing it because the previous version just looked lazy, even to me.
Media Comment: To an adult, a dark and terrifying film on the impossibilities of responsibility. To a child, an excellent adventure that closely reflects their daily lives.
Gift Logos? Why not! Artists get to give their friends pretty pictures, graphic designers should get to give their friends logo designs.
Media Comment: Too much class this week to get to watch anything. :(
Ironically, this update was ready last Wednesday or so, but I totally forgot to make it live: one of the risks of having a buffer. So, my bad, sorry.
Anyhow, this update is a tribute to A Softer World, and also something of an inside joke for those who know me in person. (I really like to make puns).
Media Comment: This series would be a lot better if it had a somewhat more consistent tone. The female characters are just a little too much, and especially the lunar boobs... why? Anyhow, it's high production value, so give it a look- just don't look too long, or it'll give you a motion headache.
These guys are new, but I'm already very fond of them. Check it out, you may be seeing a lot of them.
Media Comment: A great movie (highly recommended for the whole family), but there were a couple of pacing problems. Too cute overall though.
New sketch, drawn whilst I waited for today's media to begin. I'm not sure what prompted me to draw an alien, I just felt like it.
Media Comment: A semi-local band that I watched to last night. They're very impressive, playing six parts between the two members of the band. I recommend them heartily. Site.
Check it, new Bell Curve comic! This is the first one to be guest-written, by my ever-helpful brother WJHolden.
Media Comment: This show is definitely interesting from a scholarly perspective (I hope it sparks a new genre), and when watching it with drinking buddies, it's pretty rockin'. Also, some of the animals are terrifying. (Condor-wasps? Who thinks this stuff up?)
As I develope as an artist I find myself always drawing back towards simpler designs, after having enjoyed grittiness for a long time. This may be a backlash from my work on SC. Either way, enjoy this cute little logo.
Media Comment: This song is amazing, for anyone not fortunate enough to find the level in UT2k4 that includes it. Everyone who has played the level can verify this as irrevocable fact.
School is in session, and thus far it has been a continuous string of clusterf*cks. I really hope this won't be the trend.
Today's update is a very very short video I threw together for my honors class, to illustrate a concept to my teacher. I hope you guys like it, even though it's very unpolished.
Media Comment: This game is amazing! Why did no one tell me about it before? The art, story, and gameplay is all very good, not to mention cohesive, and it's being sold for just 1000 Wii pts! Gah!
Whelp, my updater script didn't work. That's unfortunate, I have no idea why it didn't go. Anyhow.
Today's image is actually a little flyer I threw together for my dad. It's not very polished, but it is pretty shiny.
Media Comment: This movie was good for a movie, but as a video game it'd be kinda bland. Interesting.
Photos time! Hope you guys like these! Also, video!
Media Comment: Almost done with this game. I've purchased a little bit of the add-on content, which makes the game much easier in a pinch, but most of it isn't available yet, so I'm kinda dreading that final boss (only remaining level).
